[Now Playing| Nintendogs - DS]
Namco just recently updated their Japanese DS games list. Both Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos were announced very early on in the DS life cycle (or maybe even before it launched) but since then we havent heard anything. It sounds like we might learn more about both of these games at the upcoming Tokyo Games Show.

I’m not really excited about either of these announcements. Where’s Tales of DS, Namco?!

Yes, Tales of SERIES!!!!!
Told you trivia peoples!!! Tales is awesome!

The tales series is great, but the Xenosaga series is even better I think. I just wonder where in the series will they situate the DS game, as I doubt it’d be one of the main chapters. :/

Tales will no doubt be exclusive to Sony consoles for the foreseeable future. Rightly or wrongly, Namco feels stung by the “poor performance” of Symphonia on GameCube.
Maybe by time I actually get a chance to play Phantasia, the situation will be different…

Give me my Katamari DS. Please. It’s imperative.

Bah to Xenosaga. Woo to Baten Kaitos!

Baten Kaitos should be awesome on DS

The tales series has done much better on the PSX-PS2, so it’s no surprise that they’ll keep it there. There’s not a big enough RPG scene on the nintendo platform to get enough attention to their product over there, sadly. :/

Well and the PS2’s extraordinary userbase also has something to do with it. These kind of decisions I can deal with, but things like Soul Caliber 3 being PS2 exclusive? That’s total BS.

Tales=BALLS
All this talk about Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos… YOU FORGOT ABOUT KONO QUIZ YAROU!!
Joking aside, I really wish we would get some of these games in English.

I for one am totallly stoked about Xenosaga DS. I love that series! However it has always relied so much on cut-scenes (which are beautifully done) I am really wondering how it will make the transition to the DS. I just hope it is still an epic RPG and not turned into somethinf card based or a platformer loosely based on the series.
